Brand New LES Venue: Caveat
We'll be closing out our 10th Annual Imagine Science Film Festival at this new space in the LES carved out for discussion that crosses disciplinary boundaries.
An experimental new event space is opening up on Clinton Street in the LES and we can't wait to be there for its inaugural season!
Devised by Ben Lillie, the venue is slated to be a cabaret-style hangout for discussion surrounding science, the humanities, politics, pop culture and anything that crosses traditional lines between fields. Ben last co-founded the science storytelling podcast The Story Collider, a go-to for the Imagine Science team, so we are psyched to see what he does this time.
Caveat opens in September 2017 and already has an exceptional lineup which you can view here.
As for Imagine Science Films at Caveat, the event will be our Closing Night on Friday October 20th. It's the culmination of our festival and also of our Symbiosis Competition, so we'll be screening all of the Symbiosis films for the public that night. There will be live performance as well as storytelling, and of course, our festival-wide awards ceremony.

It's an intimate space so stay informed about tickets by subscribing to our newsletter! See you there.
