Welcome to our 10th Year Anniversary Film Festival Page. We'll post updates here as we get closer to the festival.
The Awards
The Scientist Award
The Scientist Award is given to a film that portrays in an accurate and inventive way the life of a scientist. The goal of this award is to encourage more scientists to create films that let us into their minds, labs, and lifestyle.
Scientific Merit Award
The Scientific Merit Award is given by a jury to the film that exemplifies science in storytelling and narrative filmmaking in a compelling, credible and inspiring manner.
Visual Science Award
The Visual Science Award is given to the film that best depicts science in a visually-engaging manner.
People's Choice Award
The People's Choice Award is given to the short film that receives the most audience votes during the festival.
Special Mention Science Feature Film Award
The Special Mention Science Feature Film Award is given by the jury to the feature film that is the strongest exemplar of science told through innovating and compelling storytelling.

Guayaki's MARKET-DRIVEN-RESTORATION business model directly links their customer's purchases to their partner farming communities in the South American Atlantic Rainforests. Their partners sustainably harvest organic yerba mate from rainforest grown cultivations and reforestation projects, generating a renewable income stream which enables these communities to improve their lives and restore their lands.
Jackson Hole Film Festival
Jackson Hole WILD is dedicated to promoting public awareness and stewardship of wildlife and wildlife habitat and appreciation for the wonders of science through the innovative use of media. JHW encourages the production of natural history programming around the world by providing non-fiction media industry stakeholders with an international film forum to conduct business, test new equipment, refine production techniques and celebrate the world's finest nature and science programming.
Tribeca Film Institute
Tribeca Film Institute champions storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world.

Each year, they identify a diverse group of exceptional filmmakers and media artiststhen empower them with funding and resources to fully realize their stories and connect with audiences. Further, their education programs empower students through hands-on training and exposure to socially relevant films, offering young people the media skills necessary to be creative and productive global citizens.

Lagunitas Brewing Company
The Lagunitas Brewing Company was founded in 1993 in Lagunitas, California and half owned by Heineken International. Labocine is an Imagine Science Films initiative to extend film programming to a broader and diverse audience. By experimenting with cinematic form and style, LaboCine is committed to provoking scientific intrigue and understanding, always ensuring compelling and well-founded narratives. Periodically, LaboCine will be releasing Spotlights online. On the first Thursday of every month, enjoy issue selections which complement newsworthy science by proposing a surgically curated online festival. From documentary to fiction to lab footage, LaboCine hopes to always challenge the way you understand, interpret and appreciate scientific ideas and perspectives.
PARISCIENCE is a film festival which crosses science with cinema to shed light on the evolution of the various scientific disciplines and their impact on society.Each year, the festival showcases the very best of French and international science-themed films. Many of the films have never been shown on French television.The festival runs for 6 days in early October and is held at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. It is organised by the Association Science & Télévision (AST), a collective of independent production companies working to promote science on television and developing relationships between the audiovisual sector and the scientific world.
Rooftop Reds
In the spring of 2015, Rooftop Reds introduced the world's first commercially viable urban rooftop vineyard in New York City.Their mission is ambitious, going well beyond merely bringing viticulture to the urban agriculture industry.
