Yes. Our films are eligible for several awards and cash prizes.
Science New Wave Features are
in competition. They will play both in person at one of our venues and online via our partnering platform
Labocine.com. They include a slate of a dozen films that proposes a visionary look on how to bring science into film. The winner will receive the
WarnerMedia OneFifty award.
Spotlights Features include special programs (
out of competition) that are timely and do not shy away from controversial topics while providing well-balance discourse on scientific issues and crises. These also include a retrospective of some of our favorite works.
Labocine Close-Ups includes a very select program of films, of various lengths and forms, presented by Labocine that will be exclusively streaming on the platform. These pieces are avant-garde, subject-specific pieces that show us an intimate view of the world around us. The films in this selection should not be overlooked but on the contrary, examined more closely, carefully dissected, and appreciated without the constraint of time and space.
